Pig's trotter from Sainte-Ménehould

The legend attributes the discovery of « pig's trotters after Sainte-Ménehould » to a young careless kitchen hand who would have forgotten a trotter casserole on the stove "for more than a whole night".
Then the miracle happened, when the trotters coated with breadcrumbs, put in the oven and served warm, were offered to gourmets who were quite astonished and ate bones, appreciated their marrow and tasted its flavoured and smooth flesh.
